Galarian Zapdos
As most Pokémon fans will know, Zapdos is an Electric/Flying-type Legendary Pokémon originally from the Kanto region. In the Galar region, however, Zapdos takes on a new form that is part Ghost type. This makes it the first and only dual Ghost/Electric-type Pokémon in existence.
This new form of Zapdos is said to have originated in the Galar region, making it a regional variant like its fellow Legendaries. The reason for its change in typing is unknown, but it is speculated that the Dynamaxing process somehow caused this transformation. Regardless of how it came to be, this new Zapdos is just as powerful as its previous form.
One thing to note about Galarian Zapdos is that its Ghost typing gives it a major weakness to Dark-type moves. So if you’re planning on taking this Legendary down, be sure to bring along a few Dark-type Pokémon!

Once you’ve caught the bird, head back to Slumbering Weald and search for more red-leafed trees until you’ve found all three of the Galarian birds!
